Apothic Black Ice

Pair with Apothic Merlot

A glass of Apothic Black ice cocktail with blackberries and a bottle of Apothic Merlot

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Apothic Merlot
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries (+ a few for optional garnish)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1-2 fresh mint sprigs for optional garnish

Prepare

  1. Wash and pat dry 1 cup blackberries.
  2. Place in freezer for 2 hours.
  3. Blend 8 oz. Apothic Merlot, frozen blackberries, ice, and sugar in a blender for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour into large red-wine glass.
  5. Optional: Garnish with fresh blackberries and fresh mint sprigs
